2. Director of publication

Romain Dellamonica, president and sole shareholder of the SASU Vigeos, director of publication within the meaning of article 6-III of the LCEN. Contact: [email protected].

3. Hosting of the website and the data

The vigeos.fr website, the gestion.vigeos.fr management console, the administration interface and the application servers (programming interface, database and its encrypted backups) are hosted on infrastructure rented from:

  • Host: Hostinger International Ltd
  • Address: 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus (European Union)
  • Contact: [email protected]
  • Server location: France, European Union

The traffic of vigeos.fr, gestion.vigeos.fr, app.vigeos.fr and api.vigeos.fr, and therefore every visit to the site and every request from the Vigeos Business app and from the servers installed in care homes, goes through the reverse proxy, content delivery network and web application firewall of Cloudflare, Inc., a company governed by US law. This provider processes connection data (IP address, headers and address of the page requested) and receives no image of any room.

The @vigeos.fr mailboxes and the sending of the service’s emails go, since 23 September 2026, through Google Workspace, a Google service.

In care homes, video analysis takes place on a server installed on the care home’s premises. Only alert events and reduced data (geometry of the movement, without images) reach Vigeos’s servers: no video or image of a room is hosted by Vigeos or its providers. The details are in the policy of the Vigeos Business app (in French).

For the family offer, with which no household is equipped today, the encrypted video clips are stored separately with Cloudflare, Inc. (R2 service). These files are encrypted before being sent: the provider cannot read them. The encrypted database backups are kept on the production server, in France; since 11 August 2026, no copy has been made outside this server. The household record contains no medical data. The details of the processing are in the privacy policy.

4. Activity and nature of the service

Vigeos offers care homes that support older people a service of fall detection in residents’ rooms by artificial intelligence, made up of a server installed in the care home, cameras, an app for staff (Vigeos Business) and a management console.

The offer for families at home (box, cameras, app and alerting family members) has no longer been open for subscription since 30 July 2026: it is only offered as a waiting list, and no household is equipped with it today.

Vigeos is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745, and replaces neither the emergency services, nor a human personal alarm service, nor the presence of carers. In an emergency, call 112 (or 15, the SAMU, in France).

5. Intellectual property

All the elements making up the vigeos.fr website and the Vigeos app (texts, illustrations, logos, the “Vigeos” brand, interfaces, software and databases) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of the publisher or its rights holders.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or use, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation, is forbidden. Private copying and short quotation with the source mentioned remain permitted under the conditions provided by law.

The software embedded in the equipment installed at home or in the care home relies on free components, distributed under their respective licences, whose terms are available on request at [email protected].

Equipment provided to a care home as part of its subscription remains the property of the publisher: the conditions of its use and return are in its contract. For the family offer, the conditions of the equipment are in the terms of sale.

6. Personal data

In a care home, the controller is the care home, and Vigeos acts as a processor within the meaning of article 28 of the GDPR. The details are in the policy of the Vigeos Business app (in French), and rights are exercised with the care home. One exception, described in that same policy: for the reduced data alone, detached from any identity, used to improve detection, Vigeos is the controller.

In families’ homes, the controller is VIGEOS, identified in §1. The processing of personal data, including health data and images captured at home, is described in our privacy policy.

To exercise your rights with Vigeos (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent), write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or on cnil.fr.

No data protection officer has been appointed to date; requests are handled by the company’s president.

7. Cookies and audience measurement

The vigeos.fr website sets no cookies and shows no advertising. Since 12 October 2026, it measures its traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.). According to Cloudflare, the tool sets no cookie, does not collect visitors’ personal data and does not track them from one site to another; its script measures page views and loading times through the browser’s Performance interface. Vigeos only looks at aggregated statistics (page views, referring site, country, browser, operating system, device type, loading time), solely to know which pages are read, and exports none of them. Legal basis: Vigeos’s legitimate interest in measuring the traffic of its website (article 6.1.f of the GDPR). We consider that this measurement falls under the consent exemption for audience measurement (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, CNIL guidelines): no consent banner is therefore shown. You can object to it by blocking the static.cloudflareinsights.com domain, for example with a content blocker, or by writing to [email protected].

The fonts of every page are served by vigeos.fr itself, with no call to a third-party service.

Finally, the browser may send Cloudflare, Inc. network error reports (IP address, page requested, nature of the error) when a page fails to load. These reports are used to diagnose the network and are neither a cookie nor audience measurement.

8. Consumer mediation

Under article L. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, every consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute amicably.

Consumer mediator: none to date, see section 11. Joining a mediation scheme is mandatory for any professional selling to consumers. Since 30 July 2026, Vigeos no longer sells subscriptions to individuals: the family offer is only offered as a waiting list and the business is aimed at care homes. Membership will be in place before subscriptions reopen to the general public, and we do not claim that it exists today.

The European online dispute resolution platform is also available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Governing law

This website and the associated services are governed by French law. Care homes are covered by the framework subscription contract provided with the commercial proposal, after the technical visit. For the family offer, the conditions of sale, withdrawal and cancellation are in the terms of sale.

10. Contact

For any question about the website or the service: [email protected], by phone on +33 4 85 69 70 41, or by post to VIGEOS, 71 avenue des Trois Lucs, 13012 Marseille, France.

11. Information still pending

In all honesty, here is the list of the information this page cannot carry yet, which will be added as soon as it is obtained:

  • the details of the consumer mediator, required only if sales to individuals reopen;
  • the host’s phone number, which its terms and conditions do not publish.

The SIREN, SIRET and APE code, which were still in this list, have been entered since 3 August 2026: the company was registered on 24 July 2026. The contact phone number has been entered since 8 October 2026.
